Dianna Mae Amburn, Spencer,IN, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was 79 years old. Dianna was born in Indianapolis, IN, to her parents, Allen and Elsie Bergman. Dianna worked for General Motors for over thirty years. During her tenure, she held several positions at the company including welder, general assembly and inspection. Dianna was a member of the UAW and proudly worked hard to support her family.
Dianna was religious during her life. Dianna enjoyed spending time outdoors and living a country lifestyle. She loved spending time in her garden tending to her flowers and tomatoes as well as just general lawn maintenance. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles during her free time. Dianna had a soft spot for animals; she was known to take in strays off the street and love them through and through. She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered for her giving heart. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Dianna is survived by her children, Brock (Sarah) Amburn and Tim Amburn; her grandchildren, Kris Amburn, Brandon Amburn, Tiffany Amburn, Bryce (Kia) Amburn, Joshua (Jenna) Peckham, Jacob Peckham, and Jocelyn (Clay) Swallow; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Harmony, Serenity, Bella, Harlee, and Bennett; her nieces and nephews, Teresa Blair, Joey Blair , Stevie Blair, and David Blair.
Dianna is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sharon Blair.
A visitation for Dianna will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests that donations be sent to the Owen County Humane Society.
