Dianne Marie Clarke Strachan, age 68, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greenwood, passed away March 2, 2014. The daughter of George A. and Frances C. Raymond Clarke, Dianne was born May 10, 1945 in Mitchell, South Dakota.

For eight years, she worked on the food service line with Center Grove Schools. She enjoyed crafting and quilting, and frequently had merchandise on consignment with Soapbox Sampler in Franklin. Dianne was a member of the Quilters Guild of Indianapolis.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas F. Strachan of Indianapolis, whom she married on March 31, 1964; daughters, Leslie A. (George) Rich and Susan M. (Richard) Hammond, both of Indianapolis; brother, Arthur Clarke of Florida; sister, Maureen Clark of Palm Coast, Florida; three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Private burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
