Dixie "Dee" Cash, 60, of Indianapolis, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital Beech Grove. Born January 21, 1949 in West Salem, Illinois, she was the daughter of Richard L. and Dorothy L. (Fritchley) Miller. On August 18, 1967 in West Salem, IL, she married Emmett "Butch" Cash.
She worked as a secretary at Dick Miller Construction and Floortech. Dee was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church where she was active in the Women''s Ministry.
Survivors include her parents, Dick and Dorothy; her husband Butch; one son, Rich Cash; two daughters, Tawnya Padgett and Kelly Wilson; two brothers, John (Sandy) Miller and Bret (Mary) Miller; one granddaughter, Toni Padgett; and one grandson, Carey Cockerel; and her Schnauzer Rascal.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN. Services will be Friday at 10:00am at the funeral home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Southport Heights Christian Church.
