Dolly F. Austin, 81 passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime and cherished memories.

Dolly was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and treasured the many memories they shared together. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. Dolly loved working in her yard, tending to her flowers and plants and feeding the birds that visited her. These quiet moments brought her happiness and reflected her appreciation for the beauty around her.

She leaves behind three daughters LuRhe (Jim) Castetter, Sonya (Gordon) Cox and Sheila (Bob) Baker; five grandchildren Mitchell Castetter, Haley Castetter, Madison Benton, Morgan Ciraolo and Jackson Baker; two great-granddaughters Frances Benton and Landon Castetter, and one sister, Drucilla Moore. Dolly is proceeded in death by her parents George and Jessie Atwood ; her sisters Dorothy Brissey-Seeing and Deloris Keutzer and her brothers Darvin Atwood and Dawson Atwood.

Dolly will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her love for her family, her joy in spending time with her grandchildren and the simple pleasures she found in her yard and watching the birds will remain a treasured part of her memory.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug 19, 2026 from 5:00 pm until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Dolly will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
