Dolores E. Jones, 98, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 in Indianapolis Indiana.
She was born September 16, 1925 to the late Charles Curtis and Maude Capitola Turley in English, Indiana.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, J. Martin Jones; her brother, Clifton Turley; sister Ruby Pearl; her great grandson, Peyton Hughes.
Dolores is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Camden, Janet (Marty) Sadler, Barbara (Tom) Allington; her sons, Martin (Sally) Jones and Larry (Debbie) Jones; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and was an excellent seamstress.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Forest Creek Village in Indianapolis, IN for their loving care and friendships.
A visitation for Dolores will be held Monday July 1, 2024, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be on July 1, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm.
