Dolores Jean Price, Indianapolis, passed away on the afternoon of December 15, 2022. She was 91 years old. Dolores was born in Lebanon, KY to her parents William "Hood" Shelby and Josephine Marie Shelby. Dolores married her husband Robert on August 20, 1951 and together they shared 54 years of marriage together.
Dolores worked as a record manufacturer for RCA Record Company as a young woman. Eventually, Dolores was a stay at home mom for her three children. Dolores was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle Church for many years. Dolores enjoyed taking rides on her 3-wheeled bicycle and traveling to Florida with her husband. Dolores loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. The memories created will be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Dolores is survived by her children, Bob (JoAnn) Price, Linda (Mike) McAllen, Nancy Pulse; her 6 grandchildren; her 7 great grandchildren.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. Price; her son-in-law, David Pulse; her 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A visitation for Dolores will be held on Monday December 19, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday December 19, 2022 at 5:00 pm with Chuck Barcus presiding.. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Wednesday December 21, 2022  at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations are made to the Calvary Tabernacle College.
