Doloris "Jean" Cowger, age 89, of Hot Springs, AR, formerly of Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born May 17, 1926 in Columbus, OH to Howard J. and Margaret E. (Stumph) Coe. Jean married Stanley Cowger on April 2, 1943 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2000. Jean loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who love and cherish her.

Jean is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Wendy) Cowger of Hot Springs, AR and William (Sherry) Cowger of Indianapolis; daughter, Linda (Stanley) Simpkins of Indianapolis; brothers, Lawrence (Lynnda) Coe of Mosheim, TN; sister, Lillian Ladd and Margaret Scott, both of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19 at 4:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
