Donal E. Bray, 78, of Greenwood, passed away May 13th, 2009. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late William and Cora Edna Senteney (Bray) Welty. He was also preceded in death by step-father Wilbur T. Welty. He retired after 37 ½ years as a fireman and electrician from Allison, a division of General Motors. He was a Regional Director for 11 years for the U.P.G.W.A. He also worked for Dreyer & Reinbold for 15 years. Donal was a Navy veteran, a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and a lifetime member of the Greenwood VFW. Donal is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Walsh) Bray; children, Dale Bray, Deborah (Nick) Egan and step-daughter, Deborah (John) Kot; grandchildren, Brian, Ashley, Austin, Taylor, Kristen, Keith and Adam; 8 great-grandchildren. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. SR 135, Greenwood, IN will hold visitation Friday, May 15th from 4 to 8pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16th at 10:00am in the Ben Franklin Chapel, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN, with burial immediately following.
