Donald A. Ashcraft, 76 of Whiteland, IN passed away January 29, 2012. He was born October 4, 1935 the son of the late, Claude and Mary Frances Ashcraft. He worked as a welder for over 24 years and retired from Allison Transmission and also worked 28 years with Bridgeport Brass.Donald was a great loving husband, father and friend to all. He loved sharing and doing things with his family. His hobbies was traveling, fishing and working outdoors. He is truly loved and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lucille B. (Wilson); daughters, Helen (Kenneth) Brewer, Katherine Lawrence, Pam (Gary) Scott, Wendy Dollar and Kelly Cobb; eight grandchildren and five great grand-children. Visitation will be Thursday (2-2-2012)from 11am until services at 2pm in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home.
