Donald Floyd Doan, 86, of Franklin, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2008. He was born on August 22, 1921 to Roscoe and Nellie Betts Doan. He graduated from Trafalgar High School and was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He had been a Mason of Scottish Rite and was self-employed as a repairman. Hobbies included hunting, fishing, reading and travelling. Survivors include one son: Marion Eugene (Nancy) Doan, one daughter: Donna Marie Hudson, special friend of twelve years: Dolly Rancour, two sisters: Colleen Lutes, Marilyn Barnett, five grandchildren and nine great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Agnes Marie Doan, brother: Robert Wayne Doan, two sisters: Deloris Capozzi, Virginia Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
