Donald E. Driggers, 83 of Indianapolis passed away March 26, 2007. He was born July 15, 1923 in Fairfield, Il. to Clarence & Lowella Driggers. Donald served his country in the US Army during WW II and retired from Allison''s Transmissions in 1973 after 32 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 252 and the Greenwood Community Church and enjoyed weekend camping trips. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Bernice Driggers, two sons Dennis & Mike Driggers, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include daughter, Darlene Gieseking, several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 1 PM in Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
