Donald Eugene Kuhn, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away May 17, 2012. The son of Kenneth D. and Ethel L. (Howell) Kuhn, Donald was born September 26, 1939 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
For 20 years, Donald worked as a meatcutter with National Tea. He then was a truck driver for 20 years with Consildated Freightways. He was a member of Teamsters Local 135 and the Meatcutters Union.
Services 1:00 p.m. May 21, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 12 noon to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
Donald is survived by his wife, Mary B. (Abbott) Kuhn of Indianapolis, whom he married on July 15, 1975; sons, David E. (LuAnn) Kuhn of Beecher, Illinois, Alan D. (Vicki) Kuhn of Grant Park, Illinois and Wayne Smith of Indianapolis; brother, Ronald (Jan) Kuhn of Springfield, Illinois; sisters, Ardith Bigham of Northport, Alabama and Jackie Cravens of Gary, Indiana; four grandchildren, Zachary and Haleigh Kuhn, both of Beecher, Illinois and Andrea and Nathan Kuhn, both of Grant Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.
