Obituary

Mr. Donald Lee McCutcheon, Sr., Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, December 7, 2020. He was 61. Donald was born August 12, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana, one of 15 children born to the late Charles and Minnie (Harris) McCutcheon.

Donald attended Emmerick Manual High School and had been employed with the James H. Drew Corporation and served as a heavy highway construction foreman. He retired in 2010 after 18 years of service. He was a member of the Laborers International Union Local #120 and the Southport Church of the Nazarene.

Donald's life revolved around his work as he truly loved working. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed coon hunting, and taking care of his plants around his home. He deeply loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he cherished the time he could spend with them.

Donald is survived by his wife, Kim McCutcheon; his sons, Donald Lee (Loralyn) McCutcheon, Jr. and Joshua Andrew (Mandi) McCutcheon; four grandchildren; two brothers, John McCutcheon and Randy McCutcheon; four sisters, Donna (Warren) Ward and Phyllis (Jack) Cleary, Marilyn (Steve) Smith and Joann (Wayne) Spears as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by eight brothers and sisters.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, with Pastor William Swesey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Due to the recent Covid-19 situation, face masks and social distancing will be required and in keeping with the Governor's mandate, attendance must be limited to 50 people. Thank you for your understanding.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
