Donald Alan Osborne, age 59, of Indianapolis, passed away December 28, 2012. The son of Donald Milton and Wilma Jean Hawley Osborne, Donald was born March 5, 1953 in Indianapolis.

After 20 years of service with Ameritech, Donald owned an operated Osborne Property Inspection doing home inspections and also owned Heartland Home Inspection Training since 1994. He was a member of Morris Street United Methodist Church, the American Society of Home Inspectors, the American Association of Construction Engineers and the Indiana Chapter of the Society of Home Inspectors.

Pastor Dave Richards will conduct funeral services 10:00 a.m. January 3, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow services in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 January 2, 2013 at the funeral home.

Donald is survived by his wife, Rebecca S. Barrett-Osborne of Indianapolis; brother, David W. (Kathleen) Osborne of Coatesville; sisters, Deborah Mitchell and Holly (Jeffrey) Morelock, both of Indianapolis; nieces, Elizabeth Morelock, Andrea Osborne, Susan Davis and Michelle Frost; nephews, Christopher (Tracey) Frost, Jacob Morelock, Jeffrey Morelock Jr., Jonathan Morelock, Jonathon Osborne and Douglas Davis; great niece, Amber Armour and great nephews, Dylan Barton, Zackary Michele and Jonathan Frost.
