Donald Riggle, 88, of Indianapolis, died Friday, February 13, 2009. Donald was born in Johnson County on July 27, 1920 to the late Herbert Leslie & Juanita Fern Nicholson Riggle. Mr. Riggle was the former owner of both the Interstate Tool & Engineering and the R&R Tavern both in Indianapolis. Surviving are his companian: Alberta Shaw. One son: Charles Steven Riggle. One step-son: Jimmy Timbrook. Two brothers: Norman Wayne & Jack Riggles. 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren. Preceded by his wife Alma Riggle, daughter: Virginia Wolf, two step-daughters, two step-sons. Three brothers: Charles, Gene, & Ray Riggles. Family will receive friends Monday, February 16 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials may be givens to the Wheeler Mission Hebron Program in Bloomington, IN.
