Donald L. Sons, 77, of Indianapolis died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his home. Donald was born to the late Everett and Edith Fisher Sons in Bedford, IN on December 1, 1932. Don owned Don Barber Shop here in Indianapolis for 30 years. He also was a postal carrier for 18 years. He served our country in the US Navy in the Korean Conflict as a medic. Donald married Pearl Cain Billinglsey on July 6, 1974 and she survives. He attended the Southview Wesleyan Church, and was past master of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving with his wife are two daughters and son in-laws: Sheila and Randy Bragg, Terri and Jeff Witty. One son and daughter in-law: Gary and Tammy Billingsley. One sister: Evelyn Cornell. Five brothers: Jerry, Ralph and Gary Wayne Sons, Jerry and Larry Sego. Eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded by three sons: Johnny and Dana Sons, Steve Billingsley. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday at the Southview Wesleyan Church, 4700 Shelbyville Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Service will be at the church at 11:00 AM Friday with calling one hour prior. Burial to be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
