Donna Kay Tow, 59, of Martinsville, passed away July 25, 2015. The daughter of James C. and Betty J. Shipley Poynter, Donna was born April 5, 1956 in Beech Grove, Indiana.

A homemaker, Donna worked briefly for the State of Indiana. She also performed child and elderly care. She was a member of Eastview Christian Church in Martinsville; was active in her church. Donna led Bible study with the Bible Study Fellowship. She taught gymnastics to children for over 30 years. She and her husband loved to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She loved family activities, especially with her children and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, Glen R. Tow of Martinsville; daughters, Raendra (Brian) Cummings of Indianapolis and Roxanne (Andre) Melendez of Leo, Indiana; grandchildren, Clayton, Collin and Cameron Cummings and Sofia and Ian Melendez; mother, Betty J. Poynter of Trafalgar; brother, Raymond (Shannon) Poynter of Greenwood; sisters, Debbie (Randy) Glassburn of Muncie and Danita (Mike) Johnson of Trafalgar.

Pastor Rick Miller will officiate at funeral services 11:00 a.m. July 27, 2015 at Eastview Christian Church - 2745 Old Morgantown Road, Martinsville. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. to service time on Monday. Private family burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, is assisting with arrangements.
