Dorcas Lois Mullins (Branstetter) passed away February 18, 2012; she was 89 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Joseph Mullins, whom she was married for over 55 years. She also was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn JoAnn Boswell (Mullins), and son Michael Carl Mullins.
Survivors include sister, Willeta Lucas of New Castle; two grandsons, David Joseph Boswell of Indianapolis, and Michael Warren Boswell of Inver Grove Heights, MN; three great grandchildren. Ms. Mullins was born August 6, 1922, in Bloomfield, IN, to parents William & Inez Branstetter.
She graduated from Bloomfield High School in May 1940. She was a homemaker and worked as well for Best Foods for more than 20 years before retiring in the early 1980''s. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother, & "grandma great". Visitation will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, on Monday, February 20, from 5 to 7 pm. Private family entombment will follow at a later date.
