Doris J. Adams, 84, of Franklin, passed away April 5, 2015 in Franklin. Born October 29, 1930 in Stinesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucille (Smith) Board. Doris was a graduate of Union School in Johnson County with the class of 1949. She married John T. Adams on December 22, 1950 in Brownstown, Indiana. She worked as an Activities Director at Westminster Village for many years, retiring from the Indiana Masonic Home. She also helped her son Marc, at Marc Adams School of Woodworking. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa, and a member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin.

She is survived by two sons, Joe (Susan) Adams and Marc (Susie) Adams;
grandchildren, Bonnie Adams, Ean Adams, Markee Adams Murrin, and John Adams; great grandchildren, Delilia Adams, Aurora Adams, and Iris Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, and brother, Harold Board.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Johnson County Community Foundation, c/o The Roger Cliffe Memorial Foundation, and / or The Alzheimer''s Association.
