Doris E. Browning, 92, of Bargersville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. She was born in Trafalgar to the late Wilbur and Nettie Wilkerson. She graduated from Trafalgar High School in 1936. On February 11, 1939 Doris married William Browning; he precedes her in death. Doris was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking. She retired in 1986 as the Director of Housekeeping from Greenwood Village South. Survivors include one son, Gene (Toni) Browning of Manchester, IA.; one daughter, Judy Browning of Bargersville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather Friday, May 28, 2010 from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a service immediately following.
