Dorothy E. Amick, age 92 of Indianapolis, died on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Methodist Hospital. Born June 4, 1917 in Decatur, Illinois, she was the daughter to Allen and Irma (Bishop) Noblitt. Dot graduated in 1936 from Broadripple High School and married Glenn W. Amick in 1942 Survivors include a son, Lynn (Judy) Amick, a daughter Judith (Sarah) Jordan, a sister Marjorie Wells, three grandchildren, Randy (Lynn) Amick, Jeffrey (Yadira) Jordan, and Kristina (James) Mountjoy, also 6 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Walter Noblitt. A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Monday, August 10th at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
