In praise and thanksgiving to our Risen Lord, we thank family and friends for the overwhelming compassion during Charlene''s journey home.
The Lord welcomed Charlene with open arms Friday Morning August 17, 2012. The comfort of the lord has been a means of strength, encouragement and hope.
Charlene will be remembered for her love of family, her farm, precious animals, and the joy she found with family and friends.
She touched many lives from many walks of life through her giving spirit, honesty, and her never ending smile.
Charlene retired from Ameritech in 1999 after thirty years of service. She was an active member of Risen Lord Lutheran Church, where she served her Lord concerned that all find Christ as their personal savior.
Charlene is survived by a son Jon-Thomas (Teresa) Burson, two brothers Bobby Kermode and Art (Linda) Kermode.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert W. and Charlotte (Roche) Kermode and her husband Gregory Fivecoat.
Funeral services will be Tuesday August 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Risen Lord Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday August 20, 2012 at the church and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
