Dorothy Ratcliff (Dottie) , 9 5 of Mooresville and Greenwood passed away April 21, 2022. She was born to the late George & Augusta Skaggs.

Dorothy is survived by her 2 daughters Ji na (Dan) Clark and Janet Smith. G randchildren Kimberly Rankel and Clayton Smi t h along with extended grandchildren Shawn, Danny, Kevin & Bob Clark and g reat grandchildren Tyler Rankel, Jo h nny Rankel (deceased) , Rileigh Smith & Hunter Smith.

She was p receded in death by her h usband Leonard and two brother s George & Bob Skaggs.

Doroth y was a 75 year member of the Oakland Lodge #159 of Eastern Star . She loved traveling and horseback riding. Dorothy and Leonard were a vid square and round dance enthuiasts.

Dorothy was employed at Eli Lil l y in the payro ll department , she enjoyed her job a nd the many people she helped.

Her daughter s had the privilege of w a tching over her in her last years and were by her side at her passing.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband Leonard at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
