Dorothy "Dotty" A. Ross, Greenwood, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. She was 89 years old. Dorothy was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Elmer Gampfer and Margaret Tussey. Dorothy married her husband, Oscar Ross, in 1956 and together they shared 57 years of marriage until Oscar passed away in 2013. Dorothy was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church with her husband for many years.
Dorothy worked as a Beautician for many years. She always enjoyed the social and glamorous aspects of her career.  Dorothy enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the news, and spending time with her girlfriends. She cherished the coffee dates with her granddaughter, Abbey. Dorothy will be remembered for her sweet and sassy personality. She leaves a legacy of inner strength for her loved ones to cherish for years to come. Dorothy will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Martin Ross, Kelley Renz, and Kris Ross; her grandchildren, Abbey (Erica Collyer) King and Zac King.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar; her daughter, Tammy King; her sister, Louise Gampfer.
