Dorthea L. Pfieffer, age 92, died at 9:30pm Thursday March 5th at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. Born October 19, 1916 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William and Bessie (Goforth) Pfieffer. Dorthea retired from Indiana Bell after 33 years of service. Dorthea was a proud 74 year member of Rebekah and Odd Fellow Lodge of Indianapolis. She is survived by one sister, Violet Louise Lohrman and 8 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lawrence and William Pfieffer. Graveside service will be held at 1:30pm Monday, March 9th at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
