Douglas Michael Vollmer went to be with the Lord on May 24th 2025. Douglas was born to Eugene and LaVaughn (Devine) Vollmer on October 6th 1957 in Indianapolis, IN.

He received an Associates Degree from DeAnza College. Douglas was a long-time employee for AT&T along with his father and brothers. His passion in life was bowling where he was able to get his professional bowling card, his cats; especially his cat Spooky, watching Bald Eagle live cams, traveling, music, and his family.

Douglas is survived by his sister Karen Vollmer and brother Gregory Vollmer (Paula), nieces Stephanie Vollmer (Dillon), Kimberly Braatz (Michael), niece Ashley Newkirk (AJ), and nephew Johnathan Mercer.

A memorial service will be held for Douglas on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN in July. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you donate to your local animal shelter in his honor.
