Douglas Wayne Wallace, age 73, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday. He was born in Alvaton, KY on June 5, 1937 to Onnie S. and Myrtle L. (Flatt) Wallace. Douglas was a mechanic at Washington Auto Parts for 31 years and also worked at Southport High School for 5 years. He was an avid NASCAR and motorsports fan. He married Barbara Crabtree on October 19, 1956 and she survives along with two daughters, Pamela (Edward) Yarbery and Carolyn (Dan) Fullen; sister, Nancy (Jim) Brunner; grandchildren Edward (Jennifer) Yarbery, Jr., Amy (Andrew) Selby, Douglas and Kayla Fullen and one great grandson, Hugh. Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 3 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
