Mr. Duane Edward Wray, Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Monday, November 8, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness. He was 69. Duane was born July 13, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Robert Dale and Yvonne Gayle (Hedge) Wray.

Duane attended Franklin High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1970. He also earned an Associate's degree from Indiana Business College. He had been employed as a store manager for C&S Convenient Stores and retired in 2017 after 17 years of service.

Duane spent his leisure time doing counted cross-stitch work and watching sports on television. He also immensely enjoyed spending time with his wife.

Duane is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie Wray; his children, Dale (Christina) Wray, Bryan Wray and Aaron Wray; his siblings, Kenneth (Trish) Wray and Mary Beth (Tom) Heim as well as two nieces.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Lifelife Baptist Church, 13387 N. Slideoff Road, Camby, Indiana with Pastor Gary Fox officiating. The family will host a gathering of friends immediately after the services at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
