Earl Beasley, 82, of Indianapolis, left us January 30, 2011 for a better place. For those of us who love and miss him, he was husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Earl was a member of "The Greatest Generation." He grew up in a hard working depression era family on the Southside of Indianapolis, with his father Earl, mother Dorothy, and brothers Tom and Bob. As a young man he met Providence Sigreto and married her in 1948. Provie was the love of his life. They were married more than 62 years and raised four children, Earl, Dorothy, Diane and Joseph. Earl was a caring ad principled man who demonstrated his love of family by working hard all of his life to provide for their needs. While working multiple jobs, with his own hands he built a house in which to raise his family. Like people in all families, Earl experienced many jobs and sorrows. The joys of a growing family with marriages and births, the sorrow for the loss of daughter Diane, who passed away much too soon. Earl lived to see many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earl worked for many companies during his life including Allison Aircraft and Renner''s Express. After retiring in the 1980''s, he was able to devote more time to family and his love of fishing. A quite man, Earl have Provie and the rest of his family and friends a lifetime of and devotion. He was never wealthy by human standards, but he was rich in character and love for his family, leaving us who knew him with a lasting inheritance. There will always be an empty place in our hearts till we see him again. We will miss him always. He remains in our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.. Family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, In 46143. Funeral will be at 10 am Saturday at the funeral home.
