Earl M. Dale, Jr., age 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was born March 16, 1930 in Indianapolis to Earl and Clytie (Spencer) Dale. Earl worked at Allison Division of General Motors in heat treating, retiring after 31 years of service. He married the former Wanda Boger on February 18, 1950 in Indianapolis and she survives him. He was a member of Garfield Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a member of U.A.W. Local 933. Earl loved to fish and went to Canada every year for 50 years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Earl is also survived by his son, Earl M. "Mauri" (Sheryl) Dale, III; daughters, Margo (Thom) Gibeaut, and Bonnie Jeanne Dale; brother, Norman (Peggy) Dale; sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Chambers and Barbara (Dave) Peed; brother-in-law John Mennel; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren with two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Terri Richardson; granddaughter, Margo LaVonne Richardson; brothers, Robert and Eddie Dale; sister, Linda Mennel.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
