Earl Davis, Jr., 93, of Greenwood, passed away May 9, 2021.  He was born September 19, 1927 in Halls, Tennessee to the late Earl and Jennie (Bryant) Davis.

Earl married his wife, Mary (Pagano) Davis in 1958 and were together until her passing in 2009.  They raised five children.  Earl was a beef boner/butcher with Stark & Wetzel (later Rath) until he retired.  After that, he and his wife lived and worked on a farm.  Earl was his own man, taking charge of all things.  He loved to mow his lawn.  A sports lover, Earl loved all types of sports, but was a huge Colts fan.  Earl lived a long, wonderful life, and will be missed by many family and friends.

Earl is survived by his children, Joann (Mike), Mike (Glinda), Debbie (Dan), and Connie (Charles); grandchildren, Tammy, Ryan (Cindy), Jason (Hannah), Kristin (Jason), Jeff (Heather), Mike (Cherie), Jon, Mary (Mike), Missy, Shawn, Tammy (Manolo), Justin (Kristin), Josh (Kerry), Nikki (Michael), Christina (Jim), Heather (Jimmy), and Chuck (Lacey); 39 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by ten siblings and his daughter, Carol.

Family will receive friends from 11:00am - 12:00pm Thursday, May 13 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143, with service to follow at 12:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association: www.heart.org .
