Earl O'Neil Nunnally, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away January 24, 2015. The son of Hershel V. and Minnie A. Mason Nunnally, Earl was born November 11, 1922 in Lauratown, Arkansas.

He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church. After 31 years of service, he retired in 1981 as a carpenter at Allisons.

Survivors: son, Danny O. (Brenda) Nunnally of Indianapolis; sister, Mildred Richey of Okachobee, FL; grandchildren, Tina (James) Henderson of Franklin, Melissa (Michael) Smith of Paragon, Jamie Nunnally of Cincinnati, OH, Keith Nunnally of Indianapolis and Theresa Nunnally of Indianapolis; seven great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, whom he married on February 21, 1947 in Hoxie, AR; a son, Gary; brothers, David and Boyce Nunnally; sisters, Imogene Counts and Margie Fortenbery; half-sisters, Jessie Lawson and Lillie Smithee.

Services 1:00 p.m. January 28, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. January 27th at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
