Edith Diana Bunch Lawson, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away January 1, 2013. The daughter of Leo and Lena Coleman Bunch, Edith was born February 28, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Edith worked as a butcher with Hebrew National and later worked in custodial services with Franklin and Warren Township School Systems.

Survivors include her husband, Steven W. Lawson, whom she married on October 11, 1975; sons, Michael Lawson and Brian Lawson, Jr.; daughters, Selina Harting, Melinda Lawson and Melissa Lawson; brothers, David, Mark and Keith Bunch; sister, Jenny Davis; grandsons, Brandon and Alex Lawson. Besides her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her son, Brian Lawson, Sr., brother, Robert Bunch and sister, Lena Carmichael.

Pastor Troy Terry will conduct funeral services 11:00 a.m. January 4, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. January 3, 2013. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
