Edith C. Hudson, age 86, of Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Edith was born in Millerstown, KY on September 23, 1928 to Albert and Sissie (Logsdon) Kessinger. She worked as a Secretary for Chevrolet for many years and she also worked for Greenwood schools. She was a Charter Member of Northern Park Baptist Church and a member of O.E.S. Chapter #159 in Greenwood. She loved to do crossword puzzles, crochet and spend time with her loving family. She will be sorely missed by all who know and love her.

Edith married James Hudson in Greenwood and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Edith is survived by her son, James (Emily) Hudson of Bargersville; daughters, Jackie (James) Short of Indianapolis, Penny (James) Lutrell of Greenwood, Wynona (John) Brown of Marshall, IL and Marlene (Gary) Marsh of New Whiteland; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Northern Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 598 N Meridian St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
