Edith Ann Smith, 77, Of Indianapolis, passed away February 28, 2015. Born August 19, 1937 in Atalla, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Velma (Canada) Hall. She graduated from High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and received her Masters Degree from the University of North Texas.
She worked in private practice as a family counselor. On January 19, 1955, she married John D. Smith. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2004. Also surviving are her two sons, Donald and David Smith; a sister Mary; seven Grandchildren, and fourteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn''s Benjamin Franklin Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
