Edith Jewel (George) Waynick, 87 of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 12, 2021. She was born to the late Karlus C and Alva (Barnett) George.

Edith is survived by her husband of 57 years Quincy Waynick; two daughters Shiron K. (Henry) Miller and Sandra L.W. (Jeff) Peterman; two grandsons Thomas and Michael Miller and a sister Veneda F. Emerson.  She is proceeded in death by a sisters G. Pauline Tucker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10 until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Noon. Burial will be private.
