Edith Elenora Willoughby Taylor, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away August 31, 2013 in Greenwood Meadows, Greenwood. The daughter of Oliver and Anna Greely Willoughby, Edith was born April 21, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A graduate of George Washington High School, Edith was a retired secretary for her husband, Donald, who installed commercial doors. Edith was a member of The Crossing in Ninevah, Indiana and for several years was a senior volunteer in Florida.
Edith is survived by sons, Paul D. (Vicki) Taylor of Edinburgh and Don L. (Karen) Taylor of Venice, Florida; daughters, Cynthia A. Davis and Charlene K. Briggs, both of Indianapolis and Paula J. (Richard) Nezat of Cleveland, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Taylor, whom she married on June 14, 1941 in Indianapolis; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. September 4, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. September 5, 2013 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
