Edna H. Gatchel, 90, Indianapolis, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Edna was born in Waukegan, Illinois on December 13, 1919. Edna was active at one time in Cub Scouts, where she was a den mother, Brownies, and Girl Scouts. She was also active with Job's Daughter's. Edna was a remedial reading volunteer in the schools for many years, enjoyed gardening, knitting and was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and daughter in-law. She is preceded by her husband and son. Burial will be at a later date at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
