Edna R. Williams, age 95, of Indianapolis, passed away June 14, 2016. The daughter of Irvin W. and Anna L. Hudler Rimstidt, Edna was born February 13, 1921 in Greensburg, Indiana.

She retired from L. S. Ayres and Company after 20 years of service as a credit office manager. Edna loved children, so for many years she babysat; she enjoyed doing embroidery work; gardening - raising vegetables and some flowers. Edna also had a passion for reading, especially books about the Amish and historical romance novels.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Sedora Ann (Robert) Green of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Robert William (Bobbie) Green and April Joanne Green, both of Indianapolis; great-grandchildren, John Robert Green, Billy Jo-Ann Green and Heather Nicole Green. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Williams, whom she married on April 6, 1947, and sister, Eleanor Bate.

Funeral services 12:00 p.m. June 18, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
