Edsel Leon Mandrell, 72 of Indianapolis passed away on April 28, 2019. Edsel was born on May 12, 1946 in Westmorland, TN to Joe and Gladys Mandrell. Edsel proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially loved his time planting the garden each year and his flowers. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Diana Mandrell; his son, Randal (Roxanne) Mandrell; brother, Willie (Illa) Mandrell; grandchildren, Ashlee, Tiffany and Samantha Mandrell; great grandchildren, Lily and Maddox.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents; son, Lee Mandrell in 2018 and sister, Susan Newland.
