Edward W. Hankins, 90 of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026. He was born to the late Glen and Laverna Hankins.

Edward loved to square dance. Edward and Marjorie were founders of the Butterfly Rounds Club, Members of Indiana Camper Association, and Indiana Dancer Association. They lived in Mission, Tx for 20 years.

Edward leaves behind a wife of 69 years Marjorie Hankins; two children Randy (Dana) Hankins and Kevin (Marna) Hankins; three grandchildren Chad Hankins, Ashley (John) Gunderman and Kortney (Justin) Smith; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a sister Sandra Walters and a sister-in-law Joann Hankins. He is proceeded in death by both parents; son Jeffry Hankins (2009) and a brother Ronald Hankins.

A visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Ed will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
