Edward Dean Query, 70, of Martinsville passed away December 19, 2019 in Indianapolis. He was born October 6, 1949 to Harold O. and Alice (Bullerdick) Query. In 1969 Edward and his twin brother, William, were drafted into the Army and served 2 years in Vietnam. When he came back he started a family and raised a daughter and son. Edward retired from Otis Elevator after working for them for 38 years. He was also trustee of Carolina Church. Being a twin, Edward spent a lot of time with William. They often enjoyed canoeing down the White River, camping, gardening, making maple syrup and bee keeping. Every year they would travel to Kokomo, IN to camp with the Vietnam Veterans at their annual reunion. They were true outdoorsmen. Edward loved his family fiercely and will be dearly missed. Edward is survived by his children, Leslie Query (Anastasios Poulos), and Dustin (Neeta) Query; brothers, Robert, Allen, and William; sister, Beverly Padgett; companion, Debbie Smith; and grandchildren, Quentin Query, Georgia Poulos, and Nolan Query. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by brother, Stanley Query. Family will receive friends Monday, December 22 from 11am-2pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143, with service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Edward's name to Richard L.
