Edward T. Sauer 69, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 17, 1943 in Beech Grove to Edward and Evangeline (Joslin) Sauer.

Edward was a 1961 graduate of Cathedral high school and earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue University. He worked for AT & T for twenty-four years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel and spending time with his family.

Edward is survived by his wife, Karen; his mother Evangeline Sauer, two daughters, Laura L. Raab (Donnie) and Melanie L. Howell (Tim); two brothers, Steve and Tony Sauer; a sister, Karen Hassell and grandchildren, Sam and Rachel Raab. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Sauer.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
