Elaine Ruth Harpenau, age 64, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday January 18, 2011.She was born January 5, 1947 in Clinton, IL to Robert P. and Evelyn C. Harpenau. Elaine was an RN at St. Vincent Hospital for many years. She was a member of St. Mark''s Catholic Church and was an avid reader and loved to do needlepoint and crochet. Elaine is survived by her mother, Evelyn; one daughter, Monique Harpenau; one brother Paul (Sally) Harpenau; three grandchildren, Keith Harpenau, Kyle and Hunter Schaffer. A Celebration of Life and Mass will be held Saturday January 22 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time.
