Elenora "BABE" Clapper Singhurst, 79 of Cloverdale, IN formerly of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 13, 2011. She was born February 6, 1932 in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Richard Ray and Helen (Stuck)Hord. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Souders; a brother, Earnest Hord and a sister, Mildred Mitchell. She was a former member of the Landmark Baptist Church, a member of the Moose Lodge #17 Ladies Auxillary and the Royal Neighbors. Elenora is survived by her children, Fredrick E. (Becky) and Dennis R.(Cheryle) Clapper,Sonjia Clapper and Lorna (Scott) Johnson; siblings, Clarence, Joseph and Paul Hord; 9 grand- children;13 great grandchildren and 2 great,great grandchild-ren. Visitation will be Saturday (12-17-11)from 10am until her Celebration of Life at 12:30pm in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home.
