Mrs. Elinor Gladys Barnett, Plainfield, passed away on the evening of Friday, September 30, 2022. She was 86. Elinor was born June 19, 1936 in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John Donald and Helen Rebecca (Stocker) Thill.
Elinor attended schools in Richmond, California and had worked in the warehouse industry before deciding to become a homemaker, caring for her family. She spent some of her leisure time singing Karaoke and as well as reading.  She enjoyed gardening and taking care of and raising her flowers. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Elinor is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Barnett; her children, David Turner, Pat Brandon, Merlin Turner, Corlett Barnett and Suzett Barnett; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as her sister, Evelyn Thill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her granddaughter, Jennifer Turner.
Services will be private and entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
