Elizabeth A. Foster, 90, of Franklin passed away May 2, 2018. She was born July 22, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to James and Minnie (Fox) Martin.

Elizabeth loved reading, gardening, working in her yard and being outdoors, and walking and going to parks. When she was younger, Elizabeth served as a Campfire Girls leader for her daughters. She also devoted her time to Gateway Services, an organization for children with developmental disabilities and volunteered to assist children with autism.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Kenneth Foster; brothers, Robert and David Martin and sister, Grace Robinson.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, James Warren Foster; daughters, Cathy (Paul) Stieff and Sally (Dwayne) Tinkle and grandchildren, Joshua (Dana) Tinkle, Jessica Tinkle, Jamie Tinkle, Mercedes Stieff and Adelaide Stieff.
