Elizabeth Jean Hofmann, 81, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, September 28, 2008. She was born on October 24, 1926 to Orlie and Edith Bishop Hutchinson. She was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ and enjoyed landscaping around her house. Survivors include her children: Conrad ( Helen) Hofmann, Ronald Hofmann, Terry (Richard) Louden, 2 brothers: Richard D. Hutchinson and Benjamin A. Green, 5 grandchildren and 12 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Conrad Hofmann. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to: Friedens United Church of Christ, Indianpolis, or American Cancer Society.
