Obituary

Elizabeth R. Manning, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away at the home of her niece on February 9, 2015. Born November 18, 1928 in Plainfield, IN, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Marguerite (Castetter) Manning.
She worked as a telephone operator with Ameritech for over forty one years. She was a member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church, and was active in the Loaves and Fish Food Bank, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by a niece, Linda (Bill) Sparks; a brother, Donald Manning; a nephew, Charles W. (Carol) Manning; great nieces and nephews, Tricia (Frank) Groe, Stacy (Mike) Stavlund, Billy W. (Rebekah) Sparks Jr., and Timothy J. (Meg) Sparks; eight great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, William, John, and Chauncey Manning. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home,1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to; St. Timothy Episcopal Church/ Loaves and Fish Food Pantry, 2601 E.
