Elizabeth Belle Thompson, 85, of Indianapolis died Friday afternoon October 19th , 2007 at her residence. She was born July 26th , 1922 in Russell County , Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Kyle and Lora (Snow) Daffron. Elizabeth had served for many years with the Marion County Election Board. She also was a member of the Sunshine Homemakers Club. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She is survived by five sons and two daughters, Michael, Gary, Darlene, Debra, Marlon, Richard, and James; she is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a brother Woodrow Daffron and a sister Kay Alexander. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James F. Thompson in August of 1982, and a brother also preceded in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 2:00PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
